Biwako Hall Vocal Ensemble Hikaru Hayashi Opera "The Forest is Alive Unofficial

The New National Theatre, Shiga will present "The Forest is Alive," an opera produced by Biwako Hall of the Shiga Performing Arts Center, as part of the New National Theatre's regional exchange program "Regional Invitational Performances. Based on a Russian children's book, this opera, written and composed by Hikaru Hayashi, is a masterpiece that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike, with its gem of a melody and familiar Japanese language. Conducted by Tetsuro Saka and performed by the Century Orchestra of Japan, the story is vividly colored by the talented vocal ensemble of Biwako Hall.
