Tokai Baroque Project Chamber Music Series 2026 Baroque No.3

Chamber Music Series 2026 by Tokai Baroque Project, an ancient music group based in the Tokai region.
The third series will portray Bach not as a great man, but as a human being through his music. He turns his heart to God, creates music, and prays. As a father, he was involved with his family, as a teacher, he guided his students, and as a diligent worker, he devoted himself to his work.

There will be two performances, one at 14:00 and the other at 19:00.
Please register for the performance of your choice.

In the third concert, "Mastering", we will take up composers who influenced Bach, and introduce Bach's own new organ music based on melodies from their music, using instrumental music. This is a very interesting experiment by Bach, who left behind a vast number of works, to create new compositions based on the melodies of others, and it shows us the true greatness of Bach. In addition, we will also perform works by composers who were influenced by Bach.
We hope you will spend an exceptional time in the intimate setting of Nagoya's HITOMI Hall, where you can fully enjoy the rich world of Baroque music.

As in the previous year, we will also be accepting requests for a piece of music.
We will select a piece from among those submitted and perform it at the concert.
Please let us know the reason for your selection and any episodes you may have.
Please send your request to Tokai Baroque Project at least two months before each performance🎵.
