An unprecedented and spectacular trumpet festival will be held at the Higashihiroshima Performing Arts Hall KURARA, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2026. The festival will bring together three musicians: Hidetaro Matsui, the darling of the jazz world, Sergei Nakariakov, who has been called the greatest trumpet player in the history of mankind, and 16-year-old prodigy Hayato Kodama. Backed by the Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa, conducted by Nobuaki Nakata, they will showcase their stunning technique and heart-rending tone, from classical to jazz.
