We are pleased to present a supreme collaboration project between Constantinople, an ensemble of ancient and Middle Eastern music from around the world, and Abraie Cisco, a kora player who plays and narrates the traditions of West Africa. The highlight of this performance will be the process by which instruments and voices from different cultural backgrounds, such as the Persian setar, the European viola da gamba, and the West African kora, "cross" (traversées) eras and continents to create a single magnificent music.
