Gaetano Donizetti's L'Elisir d'amore (1832) is a comic opera in two acts. It tells the story of Nemorino, a naïve young villager who wins the heart of Adina not through a magical "elixir," but with sincerity, patience, and the power of true love, blending humor with tender lyricism.
