The 48th Regular Concert by the Youth Wind Orchestra will be held at the Yamato Arts Center. The orchestra will be conducted by Akihiko Yamagishi (formerly of the Siena Wind Orchestra) and Ryo Takada (Brass Exceed Tokyo), and will perform a number of masterpieces that offer a true taste of brass band music, including Khachaturian's ballet suite "Gaîne", Reed's "The Hound of Spring" and Shostakovich's "Festive Overture".
