Tsurumi de Kogaku: French Song Spirit Spun by Air de Coeur Unofficial

This is a special performance of the "Tsurumi de Kogaku" series to be held on May 14, 2026 at Salvia Hall, Tsurumi Kumin Bunka Center, Yokohama. The concert will bring together Mariko Suzuki (flauto traverso), Mihakura Orikuchi (viol), and Mika Uezono (virginal), all virtuosi of ancient instruments, to recreate the elegant musical journey from the Renaissance to the Baroque, centered on "Air de Coeur," a popular courtly song in France from the 16th to 17th centuries, as it sounded in those days. The delicate melodies spun by the three performers on ancient instruments will transport the audience back to the French court of the past.
