As part of the Chopin Festival 2026 in Omotesando, we are pleased to present a performance by up-and-coming pianist Mai Nakazawa. Under the theme of "Remembering Chopin: From Late Years to Young Days, Following the Light," she will perform a number of masterpieces from Chopin's life, ranging from Nocturne No. 17 and Funakka, masterpieces from his later years, to improvisations and the gorgeous Grand Polonaise, in which her fresh sensibility shines through. A graduate student of the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music and highly acclaimed in competitions in Japan and abroad, this is a rare opportunity to enjoy her sensitive and passionate performance up close and personal in the intimate setting of Kawai Omotesando.
