Lake Biwa Spring Music Festival 2026 2nd Biwako Hall Piano Competition Prizewinners' Concert Unofficial

This is a special concert by the winners of the 2nd Biwako Hall Piano Competition, held as part of the "Lake Biwa Spring Music Festival 2026. The four winners selected through a rigorous screening process are Shinharu Inoue, who won first prize in the A division for elementary school students and younger, Mitsunata Yagabe and Kazuha Masunari, who won second prize in the B division for high school students and younger, and Risa Daido, who won first prize in the C division for the general public. These promising young talents will perform piano solos full of freshness and passion in the middle hall of Biwako Hall of the Shiga Performing Arts Center. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy the outstanding technique and sensitivity of the highest-ranked pianists in each category, free of charge. Please come and witness the brilliant steps taken by the pianists who will lead the next generation.
