Shimizu Philharmonic Orchestra 39th Subscription Concert (24th Shizuoka City Cultural Festival) Unofficial

The 39th regular concert of the Shimizu Philharmonic Orchestra, an amateur orchestra for working people based in Shimizu-ku, Shizuoka City, will be held. Under the baton of permanent conductor Hiroyasu Matsumoto, the orchestra has put together a diverse and profound program featuring Brahms' masterpiece "Symphony No. 3" as the main work, "Music for Symphony Orchestra" by Yasunobu Akutagawa, and excerpts from Mahler's "The Children's Wonderful Hornpipe". In Mahler's "Music for Symphony Orchestra", the orchestra will be joined by Naoto Ito, a talented baritone singer, who will sing with the orchestra to depict the world of songs with rich narratives, such as "The Dead Drummer" and "Life Above the Heavens".
