The Karuizawa Ohga Hall, surrounded by the rich natural beauty of Karuizawa, will be the stage for a one-of-a-kind ensemble of Japanese instruments and brass band. The ensemble features internationally acclaimed koto player Kou Kakinokihara, Tsugaru shamisen player Momonusu Iwata, shinobue player Hikari Tamaki, and taiko drummer Kenta Mori, all elite musicians in the world of traditional Japanese music. Together with the Karuizawa Symphonic Band, a well-loved local band, they will present an outstanding stage performance in which tradition and innovation resonate. The second part of the concert will be a "co-creation-type program" in which audience members will be invited to participate in the performance by playing instruments, singing, and clapping their hands, creating a special experience that brings the entire venue together.
