To commemorate the 40th anniversary of Suntory Hall, we are pleased to present "TEA: Tea is the Mirror of the Soul," a masterpiece by international composer Tan Dun, commissioned by Suntory Hall in 2002 and given its world premiere. The composer himself will conduct the production with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, depicting a profound musical world. We hope you will enjoy the new production by Sherwood Hu, costumes by Kumi Sakurai, one of Japan's leading designers, and an up-and-coming cast from all over the world, which makes its triumphant return after 20 years.
