Woo Chung Cello Recital

Woo-Chang Chung, winner of the first prize and audience prize in the cello category of the Tokyo MINATO CITY International Music Competition & Workshop 2025, will give a long-awaited cello recital. The cellist will perform an ambitious program of works from different periods and styles, including Schumann's "Fairy Tale" and Mendelssohn's Sonata No. 2, as well as Crumb's unaccompanied works and Prokofiev's sonatas. Please enjoy the deep and beautiful sound of the up-and-coming cellists and their passionate performances backed by their solid technique in the dense space of the Blue Rose at Suntory Hall.
