Le Console The Pleasure of Ancient Music

Le Consol, the most remarkable French ancient music ensemble nowadays, formed in Paris in 2015, will make its first appearance at the Hyogo Performing Arts Center. The ensemble is made up of young talents led by harpsichordist Justin Taylor and rising star of the ancient music violin world, Théotime Langlois de Swarte. They will perform a diverse repertoire of baroque music, from baroque masters such as Vivaldi and Purcell to the rarely heard Dandrieu and Léary. The first prize winner of the 2017 Val de Loire International Old Music Competition, this outstanding program will showcase the full range of their abilities.
