We are pleased to present the world of Shuntaro Tanikawa written in song and recitation at Kitamachi Chalet, a quiet place of time in Nara. The two performers will be Ema Suzuki, whose emotional voice deeply accompanies Shuntaro Tanikawa's poems, and Kensaku Tanikawa, a composer and pianist active in many fields. In this performance, they will present a gem of a program of songs by Tanikawa Kensaku based on Shuntaro Tanikawa's poems, such as "Spring," "Kanashimi," and "Whenever Dandelions Blossom," in which words and melodies that touch the heart meld together. We hope you will enjoy this intimate and luxurious stage where words and music seem to walk lightly together in a moment of spring. The charm of poetry will come vividly to life in this precious space limited to 25 people for each performance.
