Listen to the sound of alcohol.
2026/02/21(sa.) 14:00 Starting
Hareza Ikebukuro Toshima Kumin Center Multipurpose Hall (Tokyo)
This is a series of sound dramas centered around Yuriko Sugihara's old music plays that have been adapted to new scripts and casts.
In the previous performance, we performed "Naze Surunodesuka" and other pieces that advance the topic of the sound of slurping noodles.
This time, we have arranged all the pieces on the theme of alcohol. The first half of the concert features a solo piano piece, a poem based on a folk tale about alcohol from around the world and Japan, a song, and a reading and piano piece that captures the feelings of alcohol and expresses the sounds that alcohol makes.
In the second half, we will present "A tipsy alcohol travelogue" featuring soprano, mezzo-soprano, tenor, baritone, euphonium, and piano, based on the story of Bacchus, the god of alcohol, which was first performed 19 years ago, but with a greatly revised script. We will perform with all our hearts so that both those who are strong drinkers and those who are not will feel softly tipsy. We hope to see you there! We look forward to seeing you there!
