Ensemble Contemporary Alpha will present its subscription concert 2026 "Each Milestone vol. 1" at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Small Hall. Under the theme of "Each Milestone," the performance will feature important works by the ensemble's core composers, including Hiroyuki Ito, Junmei Suzuki, and Fumio Tamura, as well as a large-scale ensemble work, "Oshiwinter," by one of Japan's leading masters, Jo Kondo. In addition, the ensemble will perform a new work commissioned from the hot young composer Tetsuro Kubo, and the world premiere of a new piece by Rikiteru Kubo, selected from among works submitted from 11 countries around the world.
