From ancient myths to Edo town songs, this special performance spins memories of people's lives and prayers in sound. J-TRAD Ensemble MAHOROBA, an elite group in the project to nurture young musicians, will perform a new sound world in which Japanese instruments such as koto, shamisen, shakuhachi, and musical instruments, as well as an elite string quartet, will resonate together to create a new sound world in which Japanese and Western cultures intersect. The works by Hidetaro Honjo, a composer who inherits tradition but is not afraid to innovate, and the spirited Yu Kuwabara, as well as "Hana no fuga" and "Ode to Susanowo," which will be performed for the first time, will bring the beauty of Japan to the future beyond time, and the profound music woven by the Japanese and Western worlds to the audience.
