The Hyogo Performing Arts Center will hold its memorable 170th Subscription Concert to mark the end of the 2025-26 season. Under the baton of Artistic Director Yutaka Sado, the concert will present a spectacular and dramatic program. The program will open with the overture to "Candide," a masterpiece by Bernstein, whom Mr. Sado studied under as a young man. This will be followed by "Symphonic Dance" from the composer's immortal masterpiece "West Side Story. The second half of the program will be Mahler's Symphony No. 1 "Titan".
