The Tokyo Cello Ensemble will perform in Kyoto for the first time in two years at the Kyoto Prefectural Hall ALTI, Kyoto's proud temple of chamber music. The ensemble brings together ten of Japan's top cellists, including Dai Miyata and Hitomi Niikura, who are leaders in the Japanese music world. The ensemble will present a diverse program featuring only cellos, from Mozart's lively overtures to Respighi's graceful melodies and Bach's majestic chaconne. We hope you will experience the supreme moment when the passionate and mellow ensemble of ten cellos resonates with the hall's wonderful acoustic space.
