As a collaborative project between Sapporo Concert Hall Kitara and Nippon Steel Kioi Hall, we present a special stage where masterpieces from the West and the East resonate with each other. The delicate baroque music of Fuminori Shinozaki on violin and Mayako Sone on harpsichord will be combined with the powerful nagauta and shamisen spun by Jun Toonjimi, Choryuro Imafuji, and Ryujuro Imafuji. From the refined beauty of baroque music to "Kishi no Yanagi," a song about the summer scenery of Tokyo, and the finale, "Echigo Shishi Concerto," full of festive enthusiasm, the leading masters of their respective fields will breathe new life into the performance. We hope you will enjoy this "resonant banquet" where Japanese and Western traditions intersect to create a new and moving experience. This unprecedented and original program will take the audience on a musical journey.
