Setagaya Quodlibet was founded in 2014 by a small group of members who came together to sing Bach cantatas under the direction of conductor Mr. Hiroya Aoki. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the group will step out of the church for the first time to hold its 8th concert at Yokohama Minatomirai Hall. The program will consist mainly of motets selected from the "Old Bach Family Works," which is considered a family treasure carefully collected by the great Bach. With the organ of Mari Yamagata and the contrabass of Yuki Nagata, the program will challenge the essence of choral music without orchestral accompaniment.
