Viola Space" was founded in 1992 by world-renowned violist Nobuko Imai, and has maintained three pillars of the festival: the appreciation of the viola, the introduction of outstanding works, and the nurturing of young performers. The 34th festival in 2026 will be held under the heartwarming theme of "Fellowship and Friendship," and will pursue a wide variety of expressions woven by the viola. This performance will be held at the Chofu Campus of Toho Gakuen School of Music, and will be an open master class for young talents who have passed the audition.
