Hello, I am YAZU STORKS, the brass band of Yatsu High School. We are the YAZU STORKS, the brass band of Yatsu High School.
We are a band that pursues music and youth with the motto, "Monbushi-Fuuki," while being loved by the local community. The name of our band, "STORKS," comes from the storks that soar over our school building from spring to summer. The stork is said to be a bird that brings happiness, and we hope that this bird will bring us happiness. We named the school "STORKS" to express our wish to deliver the gift of music gently and straight to everyone's heart. Please call us "Yazusto.
Our activities are truly a "musical adventure.
We travel around the region performing more than 20 commissioned concerts a year, volunteer at least once a month to nurture the hearts and minds of our members, and challenge ourselves to participate in photo contests in Tottori and to produce regional videos. The brass band is a multi-style brass band that uses not only its instruments but also all means of expression as its allies.
This year's regular concert will mark a major milestone, the 50th.
With the help of past and present alumni as players and staff, the history of music will overlap on one stage. This year, as an effort to connect the local music culture to the future, the Wakasakura Town Wakasakura Gakuen Brass Band will make a guest appearance. This is a special day filled not only with music, but also with a variety of projects.
