The New National Theatre Ballet Company presents this classic ballet, considered to be Marius Petipa's last masterpiece. Set during the medieval Crusades, it depicts the love sparks between the knight Jean de Brienne and the Saracen king Abderrachman over the heroine Raimonda. The lyrical and beautiful music by Alexander Glazunov will be accompanied by numerous variations by the leading actors, gorgeous group dances, and exotic folk dances. Please enjoy the gorgeous stage performance by Ayako Ono and Lee Myung Hyun's graceful dance, which harmonizes the refined direction by Asami Maki and the colorful art and costumes by Luisa Spinatelli. The Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Minori Tomita, will provide a blissful experience with live music.
