<Purpose of the seminar

Philosophy and music share a common stance of pursuing a single truth logically and passionately, but they are at odds with each other in their insistence on telling the truth through words, and in their attempt to appeal through artistic expression that transcends words. I would like to try to "materialize" the similarities and differences between the two through the views of Friedrich Nietzsche, a philosopher and musician, and to see how far I can embody them in a work composed by Nietzsche himself.
