New National Ballet Company Manon Unofficial

Kenneth MacMillan's "Manon," choreographed by Kenneth MacMillan and hailed as the pinnacle of British ballet, returns to the New National Theatre, Opera Palace, with Jules Massenet's heartbreakingly beautiful melody, depicting the drama of young men and women who are tossed about by love and lust and headed for ruin in the social disparity of 18th century France. This performance will feature a talented cast including Saho Shibayama and Shogo Hayami, and will present a psychological portrayal that delves into the dark side of the human heart and a pas de deux that makes extensive use of Macmillan's characteristic acrobatic lifts.
