At the Yatsugatake Kogen Ongakudo, a concert featuring a special instrument created from a local 110-year-old larch tree will be held in the midst of Nagano Prefecture's natural beauty. Performers will be harpsichordist Mikina Yamashita, a graduate of the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, who has studied both in Japan and abroad, and will perform pieces from J.S. Bach's Mean Clavier and Handel's "The Well-Tempered Blacksmith", allowing the audience to enjoy the delicate and gorgeous sounds of the harpsichord, while listening to the player's story. Please spend a luxurious time in the music hall surrounded by the forest and enjoy the story of music that transcends the sea and the ages, played by an instrument born from the forest.
