Bonkuri Fest 2026 Let's play with Theremin! ~ Tone Meister Ishimaru's Laboratory Unofficial

This hands-on workshop will be held as part of "Bonkuri Fest 2026" to reveal the wonders of sound and musical instruments. The workshop will be led by Tone Meister Ishimaru, sound director of the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space, and Toshiyuki Nishimura, general editor of Gakken's "Otona no Kagaku Magazine," and will explore the mysteries of the theremin, the world's oldest electronic musical instrument that can be played without touching it. This is a rare opportunity for visitors to experience the joy of actually touching the instrument and making sounds, along with easy-to-understand explanations for beginners.
