Mikio Unno will give a cello recital "Fusion of East and West Vol. 3" at Suntory Hall Blue Rose. The concert will feature a profound program of Brahms' masterpieces, Cello Sonatas No. 1 and No. 2, with Harue Unno on piano. The program also includes lyrical masterpieces by Akira Miyoshi, a commissioned work by Takashi Aragaki, and a new work by Yasuhiro Kasamatsu, which will be performed for the first time, allowing the audience to experience the moment when the musical cultures of the West and East beautifully blend.
