This performance, "The Beauty of Eternity: A Feast of Lacquer, Noh, and Sound," will be held at the historic Kanze Noh Theater in Tokyo, where visitors can enjoy an elegant display of traditional lacquer art and the ethereal dance and music unique to Noh theater simultaneously. The performances are carefully selected from famous scenes of classical Noh plays, with delicate rhythms played by the flutes, kotsuzumi (small hand drums), and other musicians, and the serene tones of the soto-yoku (chanting).
