This performance is a duo recital in which piano and guitar resonate through a common theme. Tadao Yamada (piano) and Takumi Kurosaki (guitar) will explore the difference and resonance of the two instruments through a diverse program ranging from Hummel & Giuliani's brilliant Grand Potpourri to Liszt-Verdi's famous Rigoletto Paraphrase, Debussy's "Images" Vol. 2 and Tedesco's Suite Op. 133, and Haug's fantastic Fantasy. The program will explore the difference in timbre and resonance between the two instruments through a variety of programs.
