Hynemos Wind Orchestra is an amateur wind band founded in 2008 with the aim of engaging in concerts that shed light on the original wind band art form. We consider a wind band to be "a large and precise ensemble" and strive to improve the ensemble skills of each individual.
The theme of this year's concert will be a piece based on a work of British literature.
We have coupled De Mey's Symphony No. 1 "The Lord of the Rings," which was also performed at the 10th Regular Concert, with three other pieces, including "Music to Hamlet" by A. Read.
The program invites you to the world of English literature, which is rich in variety and storytelling, from Shakespeare to Tolkien.
