Shirokane Hepburn Symphonic Band 23rd Regular Concert

The first part will feature three pieces: "The Hound of Spring," a masterpiece by A. Reed whose lively 6/8 time rhythm evokes the breath of spring; "Kazenomai," one of the most popular pieces for wind band competitions, based on the theme of a Kabuki stage; and "Fujiyama," a masterpiece for Japanese wind band inspired by Katsushika Hokusai's ukiyo-e "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. Fuji, one of the masterpieces of Japanese wind music inspired by Hokusai Katsushika's ukiyoe "Fugaku Sanjurokkei".

The second part of the concert will be a "project stage," which is a regular feature of the Hebbofuki concerts! Simply put, it is a "music play" like no other.
In the past, we have performed popular and familiar songs along with the stories of various stages and characters, such as theme parks, historical dramas, magical worlds, galaxies, famous TV shows, animations, folktales, and recitation plays. The concert has been well-received every year as an entertainment⁉ that is more than just a performance; it is a chance to enjoy music in a casual way.
What will this year's concert be about? What kind of music will be played?

In the third part, please enjoy the brass band's performance of "Godzilla," which evokes awe and destructive power, "Merry Christmas at the Battlefield," featuring piano, and "E.T.," which echoes with the glorious exuberance of hope and adventure from Japanese and foreign films, all of which you have probably heard somewhere in the world of film music!
