🎀Yumiko Ishimi is a pianist, electone player, and composer/arranger who performs mainly in Toyama Prefecture.
Main Profile and Activities
Background: Yumiko started playing the electone at the age of 3 and piano at 12. In the past, I have performed in "The Music We Created" and with the Siena Wind Orchestra.
Performances: Has held her own series of endowed concerts at the "High Frequency Cultural Hall", "Isaac Kosugi Cultural Hall La Pole", "Takaoka Cultural Hall", and "Wing Wing Takaoka" in Toyama Prefecture.
All are free admission volunteer concerts produced by Yumiko Ishimi. They are appreciated by many fans.
Performances: She has given many duo concerts with guest artists such as Shintaro Fukumoto (saxophone), professor at Showa University of Music, Mutsuki Watanabe (electone player), Katsuki Tochio and Takanori Akita from Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra, and other well-known musicians.
Contribution to the local community: We are also actively involved in community-based performances, such as a concert at the Toyama City Museum of Glass Art and a live concert at Takaoka Station to commemorate the first anniversary of the installation of a street piano there.
Compositions and Arrangements: In his own concerts, he sometimes performs many of his own compositions that he has composed since he was 9 years old ("Waltz of the Sea Breeze" and "Imizu Musu Musu Musu Dancing! etc.) that he has composed since he was 9 years old.
