A delicate ensemble of flute, guitar, and soprano will perform at the Sakura Plaza Hall of the Totsuka Ward Cultural Center in Yokohama. The diverse program includes Saint-Saens' "Invisible Flute," an oriental monument by Ibert, excerpts from "Tales," and the world premiere of a posthumous work by Toshi Ikegami that seems to speak to us. Skilled performers Jiro Yoshioka, Nana Hiwatari, and Mitsukiko Yoshiifu will join their breaths to present a moment of French-style elegance mixed with Japanese lyricism.
