Funabashi Tachibana Orchestra

This time we will be presenting masterpieces from two of the most famous representatives of the Viennese classical school, Mozart and Beethoven.

The first piece is the overture from "The Marriage of Figaro," one of Mozart's most popular operas, and following the 16th Regular Concert held in August 2013, we will open the concert with a light and gorgeous Mozart piece.

The next piece will be Beethoven's Symphony No. 3 "Hero," which is also very popular among Beethoven's symphonies and has many core fans. It may not be as well known as No. 9, No. 5 "Destiny" or No. 6 "The Countryside," but it is a masterpiece that even Beethoven himself, while composing the Ninth, considered it to be his greatest work at the time.

These two pieces will be performed under the direction of Mr. Shin Ito, with whom we have collaborated many times. We hope you will enjoy this performance, which was created under the guidance of Mr. Ito, who is an active student at the University of the Arts and who started his new career in October of last year.
