Adachi Ward Ninth Concert Unofficial

The Adachi City Ninth Concert will consist of two parts: the first half will feature the Millennium Singers, a choral group from the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, performing world-famous masterpieces and operatic arias, and the second half will be performed by the Millennium Ensemble and approximately 100 members of the Adachi Daitoku wo Utaukai, a group of Adachi City residents who will participate in the performance. The bass soloist will be Jun Hagiwara, associate professor at Tokyo University of the Arts, who will perform Beethoven's "Ode to Joy," the fourth movement of Beethoven's "Ninth Symphony," on an overwhelming scale and with great emotion.
