Duo accueil Duo Recital

Duo accueil is a two-piano duo formed in 2017 by two people who met in their hometown of Hokkaido and studied together again at Ueno Gakuen University. The unit name "accueil" means "welcome and hospitality" in French, and as the name suggests, their philosophy is to gently welcome the audience into their music and deliver a warm and enveloping experience.

The group held its debut recital the same year it was formed and released its first CD the following year. Since then, the group has performed throughout Japan, winning high acclaim for their precise ensemble playing and colorful expression, and steadily building on their achievements, including winning the Best 5 Prize in the Advanced 2-Piano Division of the Pitina Piano Competition National Finals in 2023 and the 3rd Prize in the 2-Piano Division of the 15th Tokyo Piano Competition in 2025. In 2025, he won the 3rd prize in the 2nd Piano Division of the 15th Tokyo Piano Competition.

In this recital, she will perform Mozart's masterpiece "Sonata for Two Pianos K.448," Ravel's "La Valse," which is a whirlwind of brilliant sounds, Milhaud's "Scaramouche," which is bright and lively, and Stravinsky-Bavin's "Three Movements from Petrouchka" which is overwhelming in scale. The program will offer a full taste of the charms of two pianos.
