Film Music Concert "Songs Of Silver Screen" at the Former Maeda Residence Western-style House

The former Maeda family's main Western-style residence was built in the late 1920s by Toshitame Maeda, the 16th head of the Maeda family, a feudal lord of the Kaga region known as Kaga Hyakumangoku, and a marquis, and is representative of the mansion architecture of the time.

After the war, it was confiscated by the Allied Forces and used as the official residence of the Commander of the U.S. Air Force.

On the day of the event, the rooms other than the concert venue will be open for free tours of the former Maeda Family Residence Western-style house.

Vocalist Kazutoshi Seino
After graduating from Waseda University, Seino graduated from the Jazz Department of the New School University in New York with a scholarship for excellence.
He has performed at Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, Lincoln Center, Radio City, and Birdland, and has performed with Joe Hisaishi and Grammy and Tony Award winning artists.

Vocalist Reinao Tanaka
Graduated from Toin Gakuen High School and Meiji University School of Commerce. She made her Off-Broadway debut as the lead in the musical production "Angels at work" and has performed on stage at the Apollo Theater twice on Amateur Night in NYC.

Minako Takeda, Piano
Minako Takeda is a classical pianist who has performed at Suntory Hall, etc. In 2007, she moved her base of activities to New York and has been a supporting member of Japanese artists for their overseas performances. She has also participated in musical productions such as Rigali Blonde, and has performed music at Acorn theater and Carnegie Hall.

Violin: Miu Uesugi
Executive Director of the artist collective The Hearth. Graduated from Waseda University, Faculty of Letters. She regularly performs at the Marunouchi Lafourgeurne TOKYO.

Violin: Ikuko Sasaki
Graduated from Senzoku Gakuen School of Music as a special student of orchestra. Registered as a performance assistant at Senzoku Gakuen School of Music, and a registered player for 1,000,000 Classical Live. Performed at the reception for the President of Panama visiting Japan.

Saxophone: Sei Ito
Graduated from Nihon University College of Commerce, Jazz Society. He studied jazz saxophone under Susumu Hino at Mate Music Academy and is currently an instructor at the school. He also participated in the soundtrack recording of the hit anime movie "Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni" (In a Corner of the World).

Piano: Miu Suzuki
Graduated from Senzoku Gakuen School of Music.
She has performed classical, jazz, and Latin music, and arranged orchestral music for artists, musicals, and anison orchestra concerts.
