Orchestra Patria
2nd Concert
2026/03/01(su.) 14:00 Starting
Orchestra Patria is a year orchestra consisting mainly of participants of the Medical Student Orchestra (commonly known as the Medical Orchestra) who will be enrolled in the 2019 and 2020 academic years. Patria" means "hometown" in Latin, and we aim to be a place where the friends who have spent time together in the orchestra can come back and continue to play music together, even if they are now active in various fields.
In our second concert, we will perform Rimsky-Korsakov's symphonic suite "Scheherazade", "Bacchanal" from Saint-Saens' opera "Samson and Delilah", and "Dance of the Tartars" from Borodin's opera "Prince Igor". The richly narrative program will create a vivid Arabian atmosphere.
Friends from all over the country who have become friends through the medical orchestra will come together to bring you an inspiring experience through music. Please come and listen to the music.
