Blue Island version of the opera The Geisha, The Great Mimosa Troupe

When I was touring around Europe (in the 1980s), I saw a vocal score called "The Geisha" in an old sheet music store in every town and asked for it because the music was plain and simple.
According to the scant information I had, it seemed to be a wild tale riding on 19th century Japonism. However, I decided to perform it this time because the Japanese names are closer to reality than in "Iris," "The Mikado," and "Madame Butterfly," the differences between the Japanese and the Chinese are written differently, and the development, which can only be thought of as a gag, is speedy.
　However, because the music was a bit vulgar, there were few solo singers, and there were too many chorus members, we thought it necessary to make more extensive changes than in our usual performances, so we set the play in Hawaii in the year 14 instead of Japan at the end of the 19th century (that is, when the country had just opened) and changed most Westerners to Americans instead of British. As a result of these changes, the geishas became inhabitants of a fantasy world.
The songs sung in the show are also interspersed with Foster's famous songs, so that everyone can enjoy the show.
