An elegant feast in the flower light of the New Year
Resonating in the sky, crossing the sea, and roaring on the earth.
The Japanese instrumental unit "Ren-REN," consisting of Masaki Nakamura on shakuhachi and Seishi Ibukuro on 25-string koto, will deliver a powerful performance of a number of masterpieces that have been arranged in an innovative way while retaining the breath of tradition. Guests will be Maeda Yutaro Shinsei, master of the Hokushin Itto Ryu Genbukan, a school of swordsmanship and long swordsmanship founded by Chiba Shusaku in the late Edo period, and his students.
This will be a spectacular New Year's stage where stillness and movement, sound and sword, and the spirit of harmony resonate.
