Nishi Ward Philharmonic Orchestra 26th New Year Concert
2026/01/12(mo.) 14:00 Starting
SAWARAPIA (Fukuoka Prefectural Momochi Cultural Center) Main Hall (Fukuoka)
The Nishi-ku Philharmonic Orchestra was formed in 1998 by music director Toru Mizusaki and volunteers living in the Nishi-ku area of Fukuoka City. Today, more than 70 members from across the city gather at the rehearsal center in Imajuku. Under the strict but warm guidance of the music director and instructors, the orchestra continues to take on various challenges, daring to "grow taller" in order to "perform as well as the professionals".
We cherish the opportunities to meet the local community through our regular concerts in early summer - wind ensemble concerts - ballet performances at Hakataza Theater - New Year's Concert, etc.
Our motto is cheerful and fun. Every Saturday night, we have a lot of fun with our happy friends. We are a "big family" with smiles on our faces!
