Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra The 1038th Subscription Concert, Series A Unofficial

The Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra proudly presents its 1038th Subscription A Series under the baton of conductor Kazushi Ohno with a gorgeous spring-themed program. In the first half, André Previn's "Spring is Far Away" and Debussy's "Rondo de Spring" from "Images" will envelop the audience with a delicate, stylish, and colorful performance. The second half will be "Spring Symphony op.44" performed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of the British master Britten. Ryoko Sunagawa (soprano), Hiroka Yamashita (mezzo-soprano), and Takayuki Komagata (tenor) will each take a lively solo, while the New National Theatre Chorus and Tokyo Boys and Girls Chorus will bring the work's vitality to life with their rich choral singing.
