For one night only, the newcomers of traditional Japanese music will fuse Japanese and Western sounds in a performance at the civic hall Sears Home Yume Hall, long-awaited by the people of Kumamoto Prefecture. In addition to traditional performances by nagauta singers, shamisen, shakuhachi, and koto, Fuminori Shinozaki (violin) and Rhea Suzuki (piano) will perform together.
