YAMATO is a taiko group that has given more than 4,800 performances in 55 countries around the world with its "physical music" that involves the beating of dozens of drums of various sizes, including a 2-meter diameter taiko drum made from a large tree over 400 years old. As part of the New Year's performance MINI, participants in the "Wadaiko Tatakko Experience" will have the opportunity to actually touch the taiko and experience the dynamic performance techniques and rhythmic feel of the Japanese style. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy learning the techniques under the guidance of professional drummers and to become one with the energetic sound of the taiko.
