Ensemble Blumentune "Spring Concert 2026"

~Classical music blooms in spring. Weaving together with Master Artists, the Garden of Echoes

2026/04/19(su.) 13:30 Starting

Toppan HallTokyo

Mozart's oboe quartet echoed in the lobby of the museum in March 2016...
This year marks 10 years since we quietly began our journey from that one note.
Ensemble Blumentöne has gradually developed a sound centered on classical works for chamber music and chamber orchestra.
This concert will be a "milestone" in our journey, and we will present a program that reflects our past and our thoughts for the future.

The first half of the concert will feature Beethoven's late masterpiece "String Quartet No. 15" and Mozart's masterpiece "Grand Partita. In the second half, we will present Mozart's Concerto (oboe version) and Schubert's Symphony No. 5, with Kenichi Furube, one of Japan's leading virtuosos, playing solo and conducting, in a chamber orchestra of mixed professional and amateur musicians.

Scheduled to be performed:
Beethoven / String Quartet No.15 in A minor, Op.132
Mozart / Serenade No.10 in B-flat major, K.361 "Grand Partita
<Intermission
Mozart / Flute Concerto No.1 K.313 (F major, oboe version)
Schubert / Symphony No.5 in B-flat major, D.485

Kenichi Furube, oboe soloist and conductor

May the warm sounds of classical music reach your hearts on this spring afternoon.
