Osaka University Alumni Re:Orchestra

The orchestra was formed mainly by alumni of the Osaka University Symphony Orchestra who were enrolled at Osaka University around the year 2000. The orchestra has held "Musik Siesta," which is mainly a small ensemble, and "The Alumni Concert" in 2016, which featured violinist Hamao Fujiwara as soloist, and many members have been performing with conductor Nomura for over 15 years.
Most of these members are middle-aged people who are busy with work and family. While the distance between them and music and their instruments is gradually widening in their daily lives, they are also approaching a point in their lives when their rich life experiences are giving them a sense of maturity in their music. This program will travel in the footsteps of the young prodigy Mendelssohn, with a variety of "Re-" in mind: Reunion, Retrace, Rediscovery, and so on!
