This is the first appearance of Les Vents Romantiques Tokyo, a wind ensemble of period instruments, in a rare quintet concert with fortepiano player Shigehiko Kawaguchi. Masamitsu Sannomiya (oboe), Nahoko Mitsue (clarinet), Yukiko Murakami (bassoon), and Nobuhiro Fukukawa (horn), performers who know the sound of ancient instruments, will spin Mozart and Beethoven with their ancient, elegant, and colorful sounds. From small pieces by Rickle and Vidercare to a quintet of masterpieces, the audience will be able to hear the exquisite expression that evokes the atmosphere of 18th century Vienna, and the delicate dialogue between the fortepiano and the orchestra will tie the whole performance together. The performance is scheduled to last approximately two hours (including intermission).
